Ambassador Board

Amber Parkinson serves as the Practice Manager at Edge Counseling & Wellness, where she oversees the day-to-day operations of the practice and works to ensure both clients and clinicians have a welcoming, organized, and supportive environment. Her role includes coordinating new client intake, managing administrative operations, supporting staff and interns, overseeing marketing and social media, and developing relationships with community organizations and referral partners.

Amber is passionate about making mental health resources accessible beyond the walls of the therapy office. She actively builds partnerships with schools, nonprofits, businesses, and other community organizations to expand mental health education, outreach, and opportunities for connection throughout the Greater Peoria area.

In addition to her work at Edge, Amber is a co-founder of Harvest Hope Collaborative, a nonprofit focused on increasing access to mental health services and community-based support. Through this work, she helps coordinate initiatives including pro bono counseling, community education, poverty simulations, school partnerships, and outreach to underserved populations.

Amber is also actively involved in the Peoria-area business community and serves as a Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. She brings together her experience in mental health, nonprofit leadership, community engagement, and relationship-building with a belief that meaningful change happens when organizations stop working in silos and begin working together.
