Stratus Networks Celebrates New Downtown Peoria Location

A longtime Peoria company marks its next chapter with a new downtown headquarters.

The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce joined Stratus Networks on July 23 to celebrate the opening of the company’s new location at 416 Main Street in downtown Peoria.

Chamber members, Ambassadors, community leaders, customers, partners, and guests gathered for a Ribbon Cutting, toured the new space, and met members of the Stratus Networks team.

Stratus Networks is a locally owned provider of business internet, voice, data, and cloud services. The company has served Greater Peoria since 1998 and operates its own fiber network, allowing its team to provide businesses with locally based service and support.

“Peoria is our hometown, and it was important for us to continue investing here,” said Darren Feder, Chief Executive Officer of Stratus Networks. “Moving our headquarters to Main Street strengthens our connection to the community and marks an important milestone for the people of Stratus.”

Founder and board member John Petrakis reflected on the company’s growth from its Peoria roots.

“We have grown into a national company, but our roots remain here in Greater Peoria,” Petrakis said. “We are thankful for the employees, customers, partners, and community members who have supported Stratus Networks over the years and helped take the company to new levels.”

The new location gives Stratus Networks a stronger downtown presence as the company continues supporting businesses throughout the region and across the country.

Ribbon cuttings give the Chamber and the wider business community an opportunity to recognize important company milestones. We were proud to celebrate with the Stratus Networks team and thank everyone who helped welcome them to their new space.
